Maggie Mills is a first-generation Danish settler and policy nerd who lives on unceded Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) territory, commonly known as Vancouver, British Columbia. Maggie has experience working cross-culturally, specifically in the Indigenous-settler dynamic, to understand social, economic and environmental challenges and to propose equitable, sustainable solutions. With a firm grasp on innovative global policy developments, two-eyed seeing approaches and various qualitative and quantitative research methods, she is always open to new consulting opportunities or research projects to advance societal outcomes.

Specific areas of interest include: economic development, fisheries, climate change, food systems and reconciliation.

Maggie holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics and is set to defend her Master of Environmental Studies thesis in April 2021.
